Beans
About: Beans are the mature versions of legumes. These include kidney beans, pinto beans, black beans, lima beans, black-eyed peas, garbanzo beans (chick peas), split peas and lentils. There are three types of states that beans come in: canned, dry, or frozen. They are super healthy and taste delicious if prepared correctly!

- In case you don’t decide to grow beans (which is perfectly fine, sometimes you just don’t have the time to tend to beans) by the dried version. They are the cheapest.

- Beans are considered part of the protein food group and also a part of the vegetable food group because they have dietary fiber.
